Step One:
Intro & Services
The feedback is coming in from many of the nurses who have
purchased the "Super Special" from RN MARKET LLC. Some
nurses have gone independent and many are calling up and
asking what to do now that they have an interview.
There are steps to marketing success as a Legal Nurse
Consultant. I have assisted nurses using steps to start
their business or update their image all the way to watching
them acquire cases. Congratulations!
Step One: First, you
need to have an image for your business. If you already have
one, send in your marketing materials for a free review. RN
MARKET will be truthful and let you know what you need to
fill in your gaps. Marketing materials can be made to match
your image where needed.
I have found that the best way to market is by direct mail,
networking, and referrals. The intro and services page that
I offer with my blow-out "Super Special" is the best way to
start marketing. It has been put to the test and proven to
work. It comes with the large label in a large envelope with
an intro page listing your mission statement, areas of
practice, guarantee, and something about you and your
company. The services page consists of what you can offer to
the attorney. Place these in the large envelope, with the
large label and mail. Follow-up with a phone call to get
your interview and you are ready for Step Two.
Let RN MARKET write your marketing materials for you. You
proof read them and make your changes.
Step Two:
Fee Schedule and CV
Once you have your intro
and services sent out and your interview date and time, you
will need to be prepared to go on the interview. You may
need to get an updated CV and a Fee Schedule so that you can
hand these items to the attorney along with your intro and
services in case there are others who did not get your
marketing packet. You might also be asked to produce a
sample of your work product such as a Sample Chronology or a
timeline. Remember, these items need to be printed with a
laser printer. Most of the ink jet printers that are on the
market today, have ink that smears or bleeds when it is
mailed or used for your marketing packets. It looks
unprofessional and may cost you a case.
Be sure to also place these items on high-quality paper for
a better look and have them match your image.
RN MARKET LLC offers
content, design and color to your marketing packets. We free
up your time so that you can follow up with clients or work
on cases.
Step
Three: Web site
Your marketing packet is
ready to mail. Purchasing a Web site either at this time or
after your first case is an important part of increasing
your credibility and another way to market the services that
your company offers. It can also provide attorneys with
information about you. Web sites can range in prices. You do
not need a Web site that costs thousands. You are not trying
to market products on the Web, you are trying to project an
image of your company. A Web site for one year with RN
MARKET will cost you $298.95. A very affordable price and
probably can't be beat even if you made it yourself. The
company that we use to host our Web sites is located in the
United States and was voted number one last year and so far
this year. We are able to offer these low prices because we
make many Web sites each month and are offered a lower fee
when purchasing the Web sites. We do not charge for our
time.
The price includes an email address that will direct all
mail into your current email account. You will only have to
give us your email address that you want the mail directed
to. You will also recieve a URL so that others can access
your Web site. You will be submitted to search engines to
generate traffic to your site. The price of $298.95 is for
one year of service. There are no monthly fees. You can
purchase a second year at any time before expiration of the
first year.
Please be sure that when purchasing a Web site package, you
ask what is included in that package and if there are any
extra hidden charges. Make sure that your site will be
submitted to search engines and that you are able to make
changes as needed to your sites such as an address change or
update on your services without further costs to you.
If you would like some
examples of Web sites that RN MARKET has made, send us an
email requesting some of the Web site addresses of other
Nurses that have purchased from us and are not listed on our
testimonials pages. We have made many.
Step
Four: Follow-up and Step Five: The Interview
Step Four is one of the
most important steps in marketing any business. Following up
after you send your marketing packets will get you more
response. Many people feel that they need to skip this step.
Teresa Rawlings from Aseret Medical Legal Consulting had a
suggestion that is working for her. She calls the attorney's
office before she sends the marketing packet out. She lets
them know that it is coming and gets a specific name that
the marketing materials could be addressed to. It sets them
up to receive the marketing materials and also sets them up
for a follow up phone call.
After all of those
follow up phone calls you are ready for your interview. Once
you get an interview, you will need to dress for success,
prepare yourself with more marketing packets than you think
you need, and have your materials ready for presentation if
asked for them. Many nurses have given feedback on this
topic. They say that attorneys mainly ask for a CV, a fee
schedule and a sample work product.
Once a smart attorney
has a taste of what a Legal Nurse Consultant can offer them,
they never let go. You only need one or two attorneys to
give you business in order for you to get yours. |
