Barbara King brings decades of first-class experience to the clients she services. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA (Bachelor of Science, Nursing). Following a fulfilling career in acute care, SNF-PEDS and physician’s office, she embarked on the work of managed care beginning the journey to prepare for a nurse consulting company. Barbara King is co-founder and president of NurseValue, Inc. and KDIT & Associates.

Barbara has over 29 years of nursing experience in clinical practice, medical case management and Legal nurse consulting. She possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in the managed care arena involving workers’ compensation case management and federal, state, and contractual commercial billing requirements. Barbara has written and presented for a number of professional organizations and continues to seek ways to assist other entrepreneurs in their endeavors. Barb’s performance hallmark lies in the ability to incorporate experience, education and a strong network and has culminated in the success of NurseValue, Inc (400% growth since inception).
